ORURO, BOLIVIA

Oruro is a moderate sized city (a little over 200,000) on the Altiplano of Bolivia at over 12,000 feet above sea level. There are a few isolated very steep hills around the city, but the general area is flat.

While the main part of the city appeared to have a reasonable living standard, there were poor areas on the outskirts...like this area...
