SANTIAGO
I was in Santiago twice (both times just overnight and part of a day). Here are a few pics from Santiago...

Plaza de Armas (downtown)...



In Plaza de Armas, some jacarandas were blooming among the Chilean wine palms...



The former "House of Representatives" equivalent...

An upper class neighborhood in Las Condes (in the far northeastern part of Santiago)...

Elsewhere in the park on Cerro San Cristóbal, there were some Norfolk Island Pines planted (despite an elevation of over 2500')...



Near the top of Cerro San Cristóbal is the prominent Virgen de la Immaculada...
