OLD ISLAMIC CAIRO

Islamic Cairo is the old medieval section of Cairo, dating back more than 1000 years. It is located southeast of the city center.

There were several mosques near the center of Islamic Cairo, including the Al-Hussein Mosque, built in 1154!
