PYRAMIDS OF GIZA
Here are the universally famous Pyramids of Giza, on the western outskirts of Greater Cairo. Note how close the city of Giza is to the pyramids, just a few hundred feet from the edge of the park...

First, the pyramids from several miles away...



8 pyramids appear to be visible here (including 5 smaller Pyramids of Queens)...the Great Pyramid is the large one toward the right...



5 pyramids (though the Great Pyramid is behind the largest pyramid visible here--the Khafre Pyramid)...



Different view...probably 8 pyramids (with the Great Pyramid on the right) and the Sphinx...
