Here's the Kura River in Tbilisi, with a weird pedestrian bridge (the Bridge of Peace)...

Near the city center is Tavisuplebis Moedani, or Freedom Square, with St. George and Dragon Monument in the square (really more of a traffic circle)...

A nearby vendor sells the national candy of Georgia, churchella...



Not too far away is the Kashveti Church...

There's a building that looks like a mosque, but instead is the Paliashvili Opera House...



In contrast to many other buildings, the Parliament Building looks surprisingly ordinary...



The Presidential Palace is anything but ordinary!



There's a brand new theater, one of the quirkiest buildings in Tbilisi (with the Presidential Palace in the background)...



For more quirky architecture, here is a tower (possibly a cell phone tower) along a roadway (plus the circus building in the right background)...



Near this point is the zoo, which can be partially viewed by pedestrians looking down from a bridge...



Davit Aghmashenebeli Street, the main street in the upscale shopping area in Tbilisi...



Tbilisi bus stops can give information to your smart phone...



People playing chess in one of the parks...



There are occasional pedestrian tunnels going beneath the major streets with vendors (common in many Eurasian countries)...



This is the most über-touristy street in Georgia, between the river and the Old Town (restaurants charge about double in this area versus just a few streets over)...



One more Cathedral, the Sioni Cathedral at dusk...





And also a nearby synagogue...



And finally, one last view of a large part of Tbilisi from the fort...
