Bonus List
LARGEST U.S. CITIES HAVING HOUSES FOR SALE FOR LESS THAN $10,000
While most of the larger U.S. cities are expensive (with single
family homes typically selling for one-half million or more), some
cities have very cheap housing, especially in old industrial cities
in the Midwest.
Overall, these cheap houses are in poor condition and are in
neighborhoods with few services and high crime. The cities listed
below are the largest cities to have houses (single family homes)
for sale for less than $10,000 (as of May 8, 2006). Most of these
cities have numerous houses for sale in this price range.
Cities with houses which are fire damaged and listed for less than
$10,000 (but not other houses in that price range) were not included
here.

3. Memphis, Tennessee
4. Cleveland, Ohio
