When it is noon in London, New York or Tokyo, it is also the "top of the hour" in most other parts of the world. Here are some countries, or portions of countries, where it is "half past" (or even 45 minutes past the hour).

The time listed for each place is the local time when it is noon in London, U.K. (during standard time, versus summer time or Daylight Saving Time).
