In the last list, the major multinational coffee store Starbucks still had some regional hotspots (mainly the West Coast). The major national (and to some extent multinational) hardware store Home Depot is spread out somewhere more evenly around the United States, with most states having between 5 and 8 Home Depots per million people. However, there are still some hotspots (such as parts of the Northeast and Mountain West), and there are some regions with relatively few Home Depots relative to the population, such as the Midwest and (surprisingly) parts of the South (though not Georgia, where Home Depot has its headquarters).
