While the United States has the most famous dollar, 31 other independent nations (plus some territories and dependencies) has their primary currency being called the dollar. Most are small nations though (about half with a population of less than one million), but yet these countries span the globe (every continent except Europe has at least one country whose currency is called the dollar).
