MOST POPULOUS COUNTRIES TO HAVE NO CASINOS
Approximately 2/3rds of the countries in the world have legalized casinos--in at least part of the country. The parts of the world where countries are least likely to have casinos are Asia, North Africa and the Pacific. Brazil and Mexico do not allow casinos, even though most of the rest of Latin America does. In contrast, almost all countries in Europe and the Caribbean have casinos. Some nations banning casinos do have other gambling institutions, such as parimutuel betting and race tracks.
