Bonus List

TEN COUNTRIES WITH THE HIGHEST AND LOWEST PERCENTAGE OF THE POPULATION USING THE INTERNET

About one-third of the world population uses the Internet. However, this is distributed very unevenly with 3 Scandinavian countries having over 90% the population using the Internet and 12 countries having under 1%. Almost all the high ranking countries are high income, though St. Lucia ranked #4 (and a few other West Indies nations ranked moderately high), possibly due to a large number of connections for tourists and hence easy access for the residents. The United States ranked #18 at 79.0 percent.
